I am here to tell you that we must get a House Bill on the floor as soon as possible in order to pass Legislation authorizing Pennsylvania Deputy’s as Law Enforcement Officers. It’s time for this to happen. This has been long over due to give them the status and authority that most states in this country already have.
Pennsylvania needs more Officers on the street and what better way is by making our Deputy’s Law Enforcement Officer. There would be no cost to the citizens of Pennsylvania.
Who at this time is working to see this happen is Tom Caltagirone. Tom will also Champion this bill authorizing the State to add to the title of Deputy Sheriff’s the title of Law Enforcement Officer and see it thru his committee in order to get it on the floor. He is tired of all the special interest groups telling him what to do and is now doing what the people of this great state of Pa want’s. This is why Tom gets elected, it’s because he does what the people want. I bet you can’t name who keeps voting against the Deputy’s being Law Enforcement Officers is well it’s the Police Chief’s of Pa., District Attorney’s of Pa. FOP of Pa, State Police, who would of thunk . Do these three groups represent all of Pennsylvania hell know we the people do but yet these groups try to push our Representative around and Tom won’t let them anymore. What the heck these special interest groups probably don’t even vote for Tom.
Tom, the people in your district want this to happen for the Deputy’s don’t let them down. Don’t let these special interest group’s tell you what to do anymore we the citizens are behind you.
Tom give us, the people of Pennsylvania the extra Law Enforcement Officers that we need so badly. We need the extra protection.
